SPECpower_ssj 2008
Global authoritative energy efficiency evaluation standards
SPECpower_stsj2008 is a performance to power ratio benchmark testing tool developed by SPEC organization, used to evaluate the energy efficiency of servers based on Java applications. The energy efficiency performance of different products under different loads can help users quickly select the best energy efficiency ratio computing platform, providing the best choice for the planning and construction of IDC data centers and energy consumption analysis.
The calculation method of SPECpower_stsj2008 is extremely rigorous, and standard Java JDK is used to evaluate the performance of the server. During the testing process, the server will first run the preset Java server workload in real-time three times at full load. The results of each run will be recorded, and the average of these three runs will be calculated as the reference value for the system at its highest performance state. Subsequently, the test will run the same workload according to a series of preset load levels. At each load level, the system records its corresponding performance metrics (such as throughput, response time, etc.) and power consumption values. The ultimate goal of the test is to evaluate the performance to power ratio (PPW) of the system by comparing performance and power consumption data under different loads. The higher the performance to power ratio, the less energy the system consumes while providing the same performance, indicating higher energy efficiency.
The HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen11 exhibits outstanding energy performance under extreme load conditions, achieving up to 20175 Java operations per watt at maximum load and maintaining excellent performance in the high-intensity load range of 70% -99.5%, resulting in a 40% increase in energy efficiency compared to the previous generation product. This outstanding achievement not only demonstrates the relentless pursuit of technical excellence, but also embodies practical actions based on the concept of green computing.
High performance, low energy consumption, versatile dual tower serverHPE ProLiant ML350 Gen11
The HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen11 tower server is designed for growing enterprises and is specifically designed for various small workloads. It is equipped with two fourth/fifth generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors and has a 40% increase in energy efficiency compared to the previous generation product. Paired with DDR5 memory that can run at speeds up to 5600MT/s, it effortlessly handles both large-scale data processing and complex application deployment. The configuration with 10 PCIe 5.0 slots and support for up to 8 single width or 4 dual width GPU cards allows it to excel in multiple fields such as IT infrastructure, data management, VDI, ERP/CRM, and easily cope with various demanding workloads.
In addition, the ML350 Gen11, with its tower shaped design, demonstrates excellent deployment flexibility. It can be used as a standalone tower server or converted into a 4U rack mounted server, meeting the needs of different scenarios. This design enables enterprises to flexibly adjust the deployment of servers according to their own business development and changes in IT architecture, thereby maximizing resource utilization efficiency.
