H3C helps China Unicom obtain TMMi Level 5 certification, setting a new benchmark for operator testing management

TMMi, developed by the TMMi Foundation, is a globally recognized authoritative reference model for building testing management systems and improving testing processes. As the highest level in the system, TMMi5 certification represents an organization’s outstanding performance in testing processes, risk management, quality control, and other aspects. As the national team for digital information infrastructure operation services, the main force for building a strong digital China and a smart society, and the leader in digital technology integration and innovation, China Unicom’s Network Operations Division has closely cooperated with the TMMi consulting team of New H3C to promote the comprehensive upgrade and optimization of the testing system in order to achieve its goals. Throughout the certification process, both parties engaged in in-depth cooperation and specialized improvements in eight core areas, including quality control, agile testing, personnel efficiency improvement, and safety performance testing.

New H3C Group provided full technical support for China Unicom’s certification project. By standardizing the testing process, establishing a unified testing asset library, and driving quality improvement in a data-driven manner, China Unicom Network Operations Division has established advanced risk warning mechanisms and agile testing methods in project implementation, improving testing feedback speed and development iteration efficiency. At the same time, in response to the efficiency and skill status of the testing personnel, the team has introduced a quantitative assessment mechanism and conducted targeted training, thereby comprehensively improving the overall ability of the team. In addition, the project team actively explores the implementation methods of quality control and defect prediction, and combines Gompertz, Rayleigh and other models to accurately fit defect trends, further improving the accuracy of the testing process and product competitiveness.
